CONTRACTOR AT BOEING, SEATTLE, WA

       Project 1 – Lead Process Architect

●        Senior Developer/Architect on four person team for a mission-critical project converting management  of design process from an outdated spreadsheet/email notification approach to Lombardi 7 BPM process application

●        Project was on the verge of cancellation when I joined and turned the project around and ended up delivering production code four months after joining the proejct.  Highlights included customized dashboard for both users and managers showing status charts along with tasks

●        Developed database design strategies for performance optimization and reducing redundancy of data

●        Led playback sessions for customers and requirements gathering sessions with development and business groups

●        Followed Agile/Scrum methodologies included capturing and tracking requirements in VersionOne

●        Performed multiple process app installments and migrations, continously pushing process updates to production based on customer needs

●        Led development activity on three additional process apps integrated into a value stream for the user

●        Used AJAX and JQuery to enhance the user experience

●        Wrote document generation functionality using iText for capturing information and sending notifications to users

        Project 2 – Reports/Business Intelligence Package

●        Created 20 reports (bar charts, line charts, tabular reports, drilldowns) using NetCharts as well as Google

Visualization Toolkit

●        Created Ad hoc report solution allowing table selection , filtering, column selection, event based report generation  

               (reports emailed to users on regular basis)

               reporting status to higher levels

 

       Project 3 – Production Support

●        Supported production environment for two years (Teamworks 7.01 and WLE 7.2)

●        Installed 7.2 on new environments including fix packs, user group setup, WSSO configuration, clustering setup,

Project 4 – IBM BPM 8 Evaluation

●        Workflow application accepts content information in  xml form, binds the xml to Java objects, validates, fills in additional information, and loads the information into an Oracle database. Loaded content is then made available for download or browsing on Sprint PCS wireless phones.

●        Wrote XML binding framework using Xerces to bind xml elements to Java objects

●           Consists of two applications: one application handles e-commerce functionality using Blue Martini architecture for content management and presentation. Second application is a 'portal' based architecture with markup presented using XML/XSL that handles presentation and management  of customer account information.
